You may think you’re familiar with Harvey Norman, but this household name (literally) has a big surprise up its sleeve. Not content with being one of the top popular shopping destinations for value-seeking customers, Harvey Norman has opened their biggest outlet ever at Milennia Walk.
Spanning a whopping 100,000 sq ft over three spanking new levels, this supermegastore boasts the biggest range of electrical, IT, furniture and bedding products in the city, and all under one roof!
With this as their new flagship store, Harvey Norman has gone all out to pack as much awesome stuff as they can manage. Designed to impress, the store’s layout is meant to offer inspirational ideas, with fully-furnished “apartments”, kitchens, and displays that will wow and amaze you.
There truly is something for everyone and entire families can spend many an afternoon along the spacious aisles, scouring the many sections and displays for the best deals, and generally having a great time.
Here’s a level-by-level breakdown of what to expect:
Electrical, AV, Computers, Gaming, Health & Fitness, Home Appliances
The first floor of the new store is a haven for gadget freaks. Whether you’re looking for a new action camera, something for the kitchen, or the latest fitness tracker, this is where you’ll find it. But be prepared to be spoiled for choice as this store boasts a couple of “biggest range” selections, including the largest range of AV solutions, especially 100-inch+ screens and LG OLED TVs, the largest range of Health and Fitness wearables, including the newest smart watches; and the largest range of action cameras, including Go Pro, Sony, Casio, Panasonic, SJcam and ISaw.
If you’re in the market for built-in cooking appliances, you’ll be glad for the fully-fitted kitchen concepts here, with all the major brands represented, including Miele, DeDietrich, Electrolux, Brandt, Fisher & Paykel, Smeg, Bosch, and Belling. The realistic settings let you better visualise the appliances in your own home, and everything is “live”, i.e. plugged in, so you can test it out, or enjoy a cooking demonstration.
Sofas, Dining Sets, Outdoor And Office Furniture, Homeware Decoration Accessories
Come up to Level 2, and you’ll be surrounded by a breathtaking sight. As far as you can see, there are different interior settings, each with their own themes and micro-layouts. It’s the perfect place to get some home furnishing and decoration ideas. Spread out across the displays are many premium furniture labels, including Saporiti leather sofas, Oliver B and Alf furniture from Italy, Hilker leather sofas from Germany, and Marie Claire, French-inspired furniture designs.
For a touch of personalisation, choose from over 2000 fabrics by Warwick, a UK & Australian Fabric house, to upholster your sofa. In addition, you’ll find an extensive range of homeware and home furnishing accessories to dress up your home.
Mattresses, Bed Frames, Bedroom Sets, Kids Bed Frames And Bedding Accessories
The top level is where you’ll find what’s probably the largest range of bed labels in the city (possibly even in the world!) Bathed in a soft, white light, the “rooms” in this apartment showcase over 100 mattresses and over 100 bed frames for your selection. These include premium brands that are comfortable on your pocket too, including Hilker, King Koil, Sealy, Simmons and Tempur, each with their own gallery. Not to be neglected, you’ll find the biggest range of kids bed frames and sofa beds in Singapore too.
Besides the massive selections of brands and products, the new Harvey Norman also boast several firsts:
Wonder Photo Shop by FUJIFILM
Built to resemble an old-school classroom, the first Wonder Photo Shop outside of Japan is designed to let visitors explore the FUJIFILM instax range of accessories to create their own original works of art in the form of photo gifts, wall art, scrapbooks, washi tape, stickers, photo frame decorations and much more.
A first in Singapore, Samsung CenterStage is a revolutionary digital experience, with the entire Samsung Digital Appliances range showcased on an 85-inch UHD display. This creates a compelling, immersive environment where can you interact with and experience the appliances digitally, and easily envision these products in your home.
The first in Singapore, this Microsoft-dedicated booth covers all things MS. Besides shopping for the latest Microsoft offerings, you can also look forward to interesting workshops on Windows/Surface and Office. Plus, gamers will be able to participate in Xbox games “live”.
With so much in store, the new Harvey Norman Flagship Store at Millenia Walk promises to be an all-in-one lifestyle experience. Drop by for a visit, but do allow for a few hours, because you’ll definitely need that time to cover everything. See you soon!
