Premium Japanese Supermarket, Meidi-Ya's Largest 2-Storey Flagship Store of 24,000 square feet opens at Millenia Walk

Japanese Concept Café & Bar

Unwind at the first of its kind Japanese Concept Café and Bar in Singapore, an 88-seater alfresco dining area that is adjacent to the Food Hall on Level 1. If you’re looking for a perk me up, grab a coffee made with organic, fair trade coffee beans at the Café Terrace, or wind down in the evenings with an ice-cold beer at the outdoor Beer Garden. Look forward to delicious food at affordable prices, a no-frills setting, and great service.


Hokkaido Dosanko Plaza

With Hokkaido being Japan’s food haven and a popular travel destination among Singaporeans, Meidi-Ya brings a taste of Hokkaido to Singapore! Customers can experience a year-long holiday in Hokkaido at Meidi-Ya’s Hokkaido Dosanko Plaza. Meidi-Ya has been given exclusive rights to use the term ‘Dosanko’, by the Hokkaido Government, which refers to authentic Hokkaido products.

Enjoy a delectable selection of Japanese treats and look out for specially curated items that are directly imported from Hokkaido, including authentic Hokkaido sweets, Hokkaido Crab lunch boxes, and soft-serve ice-cream. That’s not all! There will be also be seasonal fairs featuring specialty products and snacks from Japan.  

Gokoku Japanese Bakery

Located at Level 1 within Meidi-Ya is Gokoku Japanese Bakery, an authentic Japanese ‘wa’ bakery from Kobe, Japan. Founded in 1961, Gokoku Japanese Bakery is known for its healthy buns made using only the finest Japanese ingredients and hearty grains. Bread is freshly baked daily using Japanese flour and traditional ingredients such as brown rice and sakadane (fermented dough). The Gokoku Japanese Bakery at Millenia Walk is the first Gokoku outlet in Singapore to feature a dine-in café experience and an exclusive sandwich selection made using the bakery’s signature breads and buns.   


Food Hall

Love all types of Japanese food? You’ll be spoilt for choice at the Food Hall located on Level 1. Choose from a wide selection of delicatessen, Japanese curry, and a Nakajima sushi counter – where fresh fish is directly imported by Nakajima Suisan, the largest fish supplier in Japan.


International Supermarket

Get your grocery fix at the international supermarket on Level 2! Expect authentic Japanese food and products, as well as an extensive assortment of merchandises from international brands – including confectionary items directly imported from Europe and popular American brands. There is also a wine & liquor store located on Level 1, opposite the duplex store, that has an extensive range of sake, including popular picks like Dassai sakes which are exclusively imported from Yamaguchi, Japan.

In addition to offering fresh produce and household products, Meidi-Ya also has a Japanese Health and Beauty Store where Japanese health & nutrition products, beauty products, and toiletries are available.
